Welcome. LA Culture Index is a new independent publication documenting live performance and art across Los Angeles (and sometimes beyond).
LA Culture Index is a growing archive of first-hand writing on a variety of artistic & cultural events throughout Los Angeles. Each piece is written from the audience perspective, focused on what it actually feels like to be there. A focus is given to small and independent theaters and production companies, as well as up-and-coming actors, but any performance - no matter how small or how large - may be covered.
The site is currently being populated with an initial archive of writing and photography, dating back to Summer 2025. Launch is coming in the first half of 2026. Stay tuned!
